Western Regional Report Sept. - Oct. 2016

Greetings to all recruiters in the Western region.  The region continues to see growth this year and is now up 50% thanks to your hard work.  Gary Benefield (Cumberland Road Mercantile) and Bill Baum (NRA Members’ Council of Inland Empire) have already recruited 2,000 members this year and Paul Nelson (NRA Members’ Council of Alameda County) is not far behind.  Great job!

We are less than 50 days away from the Presidential election and we need to make sure we attend as many events as possible.  With this in mind, try to stay up to date on current national and local political issues.  They are great talking points with potential members.  If someone asks you a question about a political issue that you do not feel comfortable answering or do not know the answer, tell them to contact NRA ILA at 800-392-8683 or refer them to www.NRAILA.org   Make sure you have anti-Hillary flyers at your table if you are attending a gun show before the election.  Please contact me if you need more of these flyers.

We should see an uptick in membership sign ups with the upcoming election.  Make sure you have plenty of supplies on hand when you attend events.  There should be no reason to run out of applications or hats at an event and miss out on potential recruiting opportunities. 

Please double check all applications after the member fills them out.  Double check the handwriting is legible and all payment information is included (i.e. full credit card number and expiration date).  If the applications are not legible or they are missing payment information they cannot be processed; you won’t get commission and NRA won’t get the member.  We have received hundreds of applications this year with incorrect payment information.
