Western Regional Report: January-February 2016

Since accepting this position, I have enjoyed hearing from many of you as we work to increase membership. Many veteran recruiters improved upon their numbers from the previous year. I am also excited to welcome aboard some new recruiters who are already showing signs of success. Corey Smith has signed up over 300 members since coming aboard in April and James Lydigsen signed up 200 members since becoming a recruiter in June.

2016 will be an incredibly crucial year for gun owners. President Obama recently announced new executive actions making gun control one of his main concerns before he leaves office. Stay up to date on these issues using official NRA websites. It is imperative that we grow our membership ranks in the coming months as we prepare for this election.

Now is a great time to sign members up for multi-year memberships. 5-year commissions were just increased to $15 for a new member and $8 for a renewal. Signing up for a multi-year membership will ensure the member is getting the best rate before dues are increased.
