Western Regional Report: May - June 2016

Thank you all for your continued dedication and hard work. The Western region is up about 40% compared to this time last year. I would like to highlight Dave Hauge who is up 220% and Colorado Handgun Safety who is up 273% compared to membership numbers this time last year.

The new membership rates for recruiters are now in effect. If you haven’t already, order new applications from the Recruiter Supply Hotline and destroy any old applications.

Something I find extremely important when I travel to shows is to stay connected with NRA-ILA. Understanding the hot button political topics and NRA’s stance on them will help you answer questions and create relationships with prospective members. Signing up for NRA-ILA alerts on www.nraila.org will help ensure you are up to date on the latest political information regarding our Second Amendment. This is especially important during this election year and can help get you to sign up more members. 

Continue to look for new shows or events to attend and let me know if you need any assistance getting in to a new event. The summertime can be a little slow, so it is imperative that we are locating new avenues to recruit members during this time. When you are at an event, encourage members to sign up for 5 year memberships. Not only will this benefit the organization, but you will receive a higher commission and the member will be getting the best membership rate.
