Back to Basics: Cash Payments

Remember to convert any cash you receive for membership dues into a check or money order before mailing in applications to NRA. Staple or paperclip the check to the corresponding application(s). If you receive multiple cash payments, you may combine the total sum into one check. Verify that the amount you’re sending is correct by balancing the check total with the total sum collected for cash memberships.

Sending cash in the mail is not safe! It is also not a trackable. To ensure there are no delays in membership processing and to receive timely commission compensation, do not send cash in the mail and use a check or money order.
