Thus far in 2017, 636 devoted NRA Club Recruiters have recruited over 20,000 members. Certain strategies that work for some clubs may not apply as well to others, but a good start is to focus on reaching 100% NRA membership and finding an efficient way to stay there. Many clubs will associate the renewal of their club’s memberships with NRA memberships to simplify the process.
With hunting season coming up there is great opportunity to reach non-club members from your community. As guests show up to sight in their firearms and bows, find a way to tie in NRA membership to their visit. Your club could offer range discounts to NRA members or maybe even require NRA memberships from guests. In any case, be sure they understand your club offers membership at a discounted rate and highlight the benefits that will impact them the most.
Moving forward, continue to shape your recruiting strategy to more effectively reach all of your club’s members and members of your local community. If your club has not been 100% NRA in the past, but is ready to make that commitment, let me know and we can help you with the process. As always, your dedication to our Second Amendment freedoms is greatly appreciated. Let me know if there is anything I can do to assist in your efforts to grow the NRA!
The NRA Recruiting program provides a great opportunity for NRA members to strengthen the NRA by increasing membership and earn extra money at the same time!
