Clubs across the country have shown their dedication in 2016, making a significant impact on the NRA and the outcome of the election.  Overall, club recruiters are up 28% from this point last year!  With the election victory in hand, clubs can help the NRA go on the offensive by signing up club guests and members at club events open to the public.

There are many unique ways your club can bring new members into the fold.  Beaver Valley Gun Club runs NRA commercials in their club house so that every person who visits the club will know the importance of supporting the NRA.  Other clubs will have many hunters coming in to sight in their rifles.  Take the opportunity to sign up hunters and other club guests present to expand your efforts.  Many clubs require a minimum of an Associate Membership for club guests, so keep that in mind when adjusting your by-laws.  And with the holiday season upon us you can also urge your club members to give the gift of NRA memberships to their family members and loved ones.  Send out a newsletter or email with your NRA web link and remind your members that NRA membership is a gift that lasts all year long.

Be sure to let the NRA members in your club know how much they are appreciated; we wouldn’t have experienced this recent political success without them!  With the election behind us, now is the time start making major changes in our country, so present your club members with the opportunity to fully do their part by joining NRA!
