Your dedicated efforts, essential to the proliferation of the NRA, are greatly appreciated! Every active club recruiter has contributed to making 2016 one of our most successful years to date. In fact, total member dues brought in by club recruiters are up over 30% from this point last year!

The key to recruiting success is finding new avenues of recruitment. For instance, Beaver Valley Rifle and Pistol Club will boost their recruiting efforts by utilizing a new big screen TV in their clubhouse. The club will run the NRA’s power commercial, ‘Freedom’s Safest Place,’ throughout the day to drive NRA membership sales! Meanwhile, Benton Gun Club is able to reach their full roster of members by mailing out NRA applications. Their members fill out applications from their homes and send them back to Benton. This method makes it easier to reach those club members who do not frequently visit the club, but still want to support the NRA. Arguably one of the most effective strategies to increase your recruiting numbers is adjusting your by-laws to make NRA membership mandatory for all members and/or guests. Many clubs are able to reach and maintain 100% NRA membership by sending us membership information lists. Using this list, I can verify the NRA membership of your club members and provide you with their expiration dates. Clubs may also use completed information lists to sign-up or renew multiple members at the same time. Ask me for a membership list template if you want to streamline your recruiting efforts.

Gun clubs have substantial influence over shooting communities. With appropriate recruiting methods, you have the ability to heavily impact the NRA’s overall strength. So take a stand and fight to fully enlist the support of your members and all other Second Amendment enthusiasts who call your community “home.”
