XS Category Report: November - December 2016

This past election is testament to the power of the NRA and the importance membership. XS Recruiters know this and it’s why hundreds of stores are promoting NRA membership every day. The everyday conversations in participating stores about NRA and the benefits a NRA membership provides resulted in history being made, both here at the NRA and in our country.  XS recruiters helped steer this election toward freedom by recruiting over 27,000 NRA members this year!  In fact, four of our XS Recruiters have recruited more than 1,000 members since January.  This is an outstanding accomplishment!

Now that the election is over we must build upon this success. This is a great opportunity to retake ground in states where gun rights have been infringed, to pass initiatives that have failed in the past, and to further educate gun owners about the NRA and member benefits. While talking to your customers, remember there are many reasons to become a member.  Knowing your customer and explaining which benefit relates to them the most will help your continued success.

This past quarter we built upon the success of previous months and added to our record shattering year. Long standing recruiters continued recruiting members in droves and new recruiters signed up their first members. Joe Bob Outfitters, Smilin Equipment, Express Pawn are a few of the stores that found their stride and started recruiting.

Thank you all for your hard work as it has certainly paid off. Don’t let up, the need for members is still great; complacency must be our enemy. Let us not settle, but continue to build upon our successes into 2017!
