Congratulations on another outstanding year of recruiting! 2017 was the first year under President Donald Trump. Following an election year is never easy but NRA Recruiters delivered with over 236,000 members recruited. Thank you for all your efforts and for a job well done!
Congratulations to Rivanna Rifle & Pistol Club (RR&PC) of Charlottesville, VA, for being named 2017 Club Recruiter of the Year! In 2017, RR&PC brought in 505 members and $23,950 in corresponding revenue, more than any other Club Recruiter in 2017!
Shooters World of Tampa, Florida recruited 750 members last year, making them the second highest XR Recruiter for the first time and earning them 2017 Recruiter of the Year honors! The staff at Shooters World Tampa made NRA memberships a total team effort and increased their Membership numbers by 293%.
What do our Recruiters of the Year have in common? They recruited at least 25 members in their first year. Recruiting the first 25 is the biggest step to becoming a top flight Recruiter.
Club Recruiters from coast to coast demonstrated their dedication to our Second Amendment freedoms in 2017 with another successful year enlisting NRA members. In fact, there were more active Club Recruiters in 2017 than ever before! When compared to the politically charged year of 2016, total recruiting numbers from clubs were slightly down. However, signs of long-term strength are shown with results that surpass both 2015 and 2014. Keep the overall momentum going in 2018. Clubs need to set appropriate goals and can focus on growing NRA by signing up club guests, running local membership drives and by encouraging club members to renew with multi-year or Life memberships.
More certified firearm instructors signed up at least one NRA member in 2017 than ever before! In total, 1,039 NRA Instructors actively recruited this past year. However, our goal for each Instructor Recruiter is not enlisting a single member, but to “Strive for 25” and sign up or renew at least 25 members per year! If every XI Recruiter sets suitable short term and long term goals to help reach their potential, we can radically impact the NRA in 2018!
Last year was a rollercoaster of a year for the firearms industry. Thank you all for your commitment to the NRA during the ever changing condition of the industry and political atmosphere. In 2017, our XS Recruiters sold over 17,500 memberships, several thousand more than 2015! We are experiencing long term growth, thanks to all the members you recruited.
Happy New Year, Recruiters! 2017 was an incredible year for NRA Recruiters. As we moved onward from the 2016 election, NRA Recruiters continued to step up and work hard to defend the Second Amendment. NRA Recruiters recruited over 220,000 members in 2017, while Central Show Recruiters recruited over 17,400 members last year alone!
I cannot thank you enough for your hard work and perseverance this past year. The Northeast Region recruited over 16,000 members! Overall, 2017 was our third best year ever in the recruiting program. That’s HUGE! What a way to ring in my first year in Show Recruiting.
Another successful year is in the books for Southeast Recruiters! As a region, we recruited over 20,000 members and attended over 400 shows and events. Special congratulations to David Conte for being top individual Show Recruiter in the Southeast. David attended 18 events and recruited over 1600 members! A job well done!
Happy New Year! 2017 was a great year for NRA recruiting and will go down as the third best year ever for the program. You should all be proud of the effort you have put in to help grow our Association. Without the countless hours and energy spent by all of you, the NRA would not be what it is today. 2018 is going to be as important as 2017 in our ongoing fight to protect our rights. With mid-term elections happening this year we must continue to do everything we can to increase membership!
The NRA Recruiting program provides a great opportunity for NRA members to strengthen the NRA by increasing membership and earn extra money at the same time!
