NRA Club Recruiters have been showing their support early in 2018, up 22% from this point last year and best overall start to date!  Many long-time Recruiters have revamped their recruiting protocols and more and more clubs have informed us of a by-law change to require membership.  In any case, the current political aura may give good cause to shift your strategies to maximize your recruiting efficiency.

It’s a great time to focus on signing up NRA members from around your community.  Set up booths when you hold events open to the public and post your link on your social media pages.  It's an important time to emphasize the opportunity to join so that anyone who is interested can take advantage.

One club off to an exceptional start is Tulsa Red Castle Gun Club in Tulsa, OK.  Surprisingly, the club does not require membership, but still tops the charts for Club Recruiters with 541 members.  The club’s recruiting contact, Mike Bolden, explained how they strongly encourage membership and make it very easy for someone to sign up by posting their link predominately on their web page, including it in newsletters, announcing the opportunity at club meetings, mentioning their recruiting status in their bylaws and by making it known that members can sign up through the club year after year.  Mike explained, “We include the NRA pledge in our bylaws.  As a club member, you subscribe to this pledge when you sign our agreement.  Our mission and values are aligned with the NRA.”
