NRA Club Recruiters had a very strong first half of the year. Many clubs have committed themselves to 100% NRA membership and sought out new opportunities for membership drives. There is no doubt these efforts contributed to the incredible first 6 months!
One 100% NRA club that stands out in 2018 is Benton Gun Club out of Benton, AR.With 627 members signed up, they lead the XC Recruiter category and have surpassed their recruiting totals from this point last year by 19 percent.Benton has found success by including a custom NRA application in their mailers (which the members in turn mail back to the club).Snail mail going back and forth may not sound extremely high-tech, but you can’t say it isn’t effective.
If you think a custom application mailer might supplement your overall recruiting strategy, please contact me at [email protected] as all membership materials, such as custom applications, must be reviewed and approved by the Recruiting Programs Department.
No matter your recruiting strategy – whether it’s submitting an annual renewal list, conducting membership drives at community events, pushing your web link everywhere possible, sending out a custom mailer, or a mix of several methods – it is important you set goals to increase the impact you are making on NRA each year. Our strength is in numbers, so do everything you can to enlist more members than the previous year.A little effort and creativity can go a long way.Gun clubs have a heavy influence on the community level and if we lead the fight together, we can make a substantial impact on the NRA and our Second Amendment Freedoms.
As always, if you have any questions or concerns, please contact me at [email protected]
The NRA Recruiting program provides a great opportunity for NRA members to strengthen the NRA by increasing membership and earn extra money at the same time!
