Reminder: Dues Increase

Authorized Recruiter discount rates for the One-Year and Five-Year memberships were increased March 1, 2019. The One-Year Membership Recruiter Rate is $35 (reg. rate $45) and the Five-Year Membership Recruiter Rate is $125 (reg. rate $150).

Back to Basics: Cash Payments

Sending cash in the mail is not safe! It is also not a trackable. To ensure there are no delays in membership processing and to receive timely commission compensation, do not send cash in the mail and use a check or money order.

Clubs Category Report: March - April 2019

NRA Club Recruiters have demonstrated their dedication to the Second Amendment early in 2019, with 444 active clubs enrolling over 7,000 members! Within the club recruiting category, there's a large variety in organization types. There are large gun clubs with public ranges and also small hunting clubs formed by groups of lifelong friends. Many clubs have been recruiting for 25 years, while others are new to the program and just learning how the program works. An important quality shared by all these clubs and associations, however, is their passion for furthering the mission of the NRA and protecting our freedoms.

It’s gone! The first Show Season of the year is over and done with. It was great seeing many of you at the various shows we were able to attend so far this year. I always enjoy going to shows as it gives us a time to meet and discuss the many ways we can work together in the coming year.

Instructor Category Report: March - April 2019

NRA Instructor Recruiters are off to a great start in 2019, with over 400 active Recruiters enrolling 2000 members. Many instructors have found success in new strategies they have been trying out. Offering discounts on personal merchandise, including membership dues in class rates, seeking out local events (with our approval), showing NRATV videos in class and/or sending out frequent emails with their unique web links are just a few of the many strategies that have been recently working.

Retailer Category Report: March - April 2019

Mid-terms have come and gone and the first two months of the year are already over. Several months back we expected the rhetoric to ramp up and turn from words to action. The House recently passed a bill that as Executive Director Chris Cox said, “Could make criminals out of law-abiding Americans and make it harder for people to defend themselves and their families.” The anti-gun politicians have kept their word and now it is time for us to do the same.

With 2019 well underway, w'ere already gearing up for another election. The work and dedication we put into our recruiting efforts this year will prove to be significant in order for us to build and maintain the Central Region for the upcoming political fights ahead.

Northeast Regional Report: March - April 2019

2019 is off to a promising start for the Northeast Region. 52 of you have already submitted memberships this year! Our yearly challenge for our Recruiters is to "Strive for 25" members. That's only 1 application book worth of memberships. If you didn't reach this goal last year, I encourage you to set your sights on getting those 25. If you know how many memberships you did last year, I challenge you to beat that number by 15%!

Southeast Regional Report: March - April 2019

We are almost at the quarter point of 2019 and the Southeast has already recruited 3,000 members! Let’s keep the momentum rolling as we head into the summer months. As I’m sure most of you are aware, the Southeast Marketing Representative position open. Please see the contact info for our other marketing reps and the states they will be covering for the Southeast. Reach out to them with anything relating to NRA recruiting. We will let you all know as soon as we have a full time replacement for the Southeast.

Western Regional Report: March - April 2019

The year is off to a great start with the Western Region bringing in over 2,000 members so far! All of your hard work and countless hours spent growing our organization is what makes NRA as strong as it is today. I encourage you to keep the momentum going by setting goals for yourself. Whether it’s 25 memberships or 2,000 – each and every one of you is helping NRA secure our rights through a strong membership base.
