As the summer of 2022 winds down, it appears we can finally say things are starting to feel normal again across the country. While we are still down 33% in the west from last year, I have heard a lot of great things from promoters and recruiters alike about shows and events coming back full steam this fall. I know a lot of you are eager to get back out there to stand strong for the 2nd Amendment.
One Recruiter I would like to give a special shout out to is the Manhattan Wildlife Association in Montana. They have brought in over 300 new members between June and September of this year. One aspect to MWA’s success is being a 100% NRA Club and offering a large variety of shooting sports experiences for members that keep people coming back. Great job to Gary, John, and the whole crew behind MWA.
Election season always means new members. Keeping this in mind, remember to stay on top of our main goal on explaining the benefits of the NRA to these potential new members. Resources like NRA-ILA https://www.nraila.org/ or NRA Legal Facts https://www.nralegalfacts.org/ are great places to refer individuals if they have questions you are unable or uncomfortable in answering. Another great tip this time of year for any club recruiter or recruiter with a retail location is that as hunting season approaches always be looking to enroll those coming to get their optics sighted in to be members.
To wrap the summer up, feel free to always reach out to me with any issues or questions in your recruiting efforts such as finding events around you to recruit at, talking with promoters on your behalf, ideas to increase or maximize your recruiting prospects, assisting your club in becoming a Gold Medal Club by being 100% NRA or any new ideas you may have, I would love to hear from you.
The NRA Recruiting program provides a great opportunity for NRA members to strengthen the NRA by increasing membership and earn extra money at the same time!
