Southern Region Report March-April 2022

It’s almost spring and we have great news! The Southern Region has brought in over 8,700 new members this year! People are coming out and celebrating the Second Amendment in droves! After more than 165,000 people attended The Great American Outdoor Show, the NRA would like to highlight that things are going back to normal and gun shows across the nation should expect to see increasing attendance!

One great example of a person who makes sure that our voices are heard, is Michael Gelles. Through his hard work, and Showmaster’s tireless dedication, Mike has recruited over 728 members this year alone.

Mike’s tremendous efforts are inspiring. Part of his success, is hard work and not being concerned with speaking about the importance of the freedoms we all work so hard to protect. Please, never forget, there is never a bad opportunity to talk to people about why firearms ownership is crucial. Furthermore, there are less conventional venues to pursue our goals to protect as well. The grocery store, the post office and the gas station are all great places to begin this conversation. You can start by engaging people with NRA Stickers on their cars. They may have lost track of their membership and need to be welcomed back.
