Western Regional Report: September - October 2021

Despite the cancellations of events and classes, Western Region recruiters have been doing a great job in 2021, bringing in over 11,300 members to further our mission of defending the Second Amendment!  Since record numbers of Americans are purchasing firearms and general political attitudes are beginning to shift, we need to do everything we can to expand our membership base.

Manhattan Wildlife Association out of Bozeman, MT is the top club recruiter in 2021 with 879 members! MWA is able to reach these impressive recruiting numbers since they are a 100% NRA club, which means they require all club members to also be NRA members. This distinction comes with various benefits, and can be very attainable as we have tools to help you along the way. Another recruiter who has had a great year so far in 2021 with 608 members is Gunsite Academy out of Paulden, AZ. Gunsite provides a free membership to everyone that takes one of their advanced classes. Many instructors will also offer free associate memberships to those who take their classes, with the option to upgrade to a regular membership in person. As we move forward and see shows, clubs and classes fully open across the country, along with gun shops across the country packed with first-time gun owners, now is the time to seize every recruiting opportunity and put in the extra work to make a difference for the NRA!
