Northern Regional Report: September - October 2021

With fall right around the corner, it’s good to see gun shows returning to their regular schedules.  Show promoters have worked hard to maneuver their shows through the shutdown.  Please thank them and show your support when you see them.

Many of you have promising membership goals for the fall. I recently heard from Clyde Pritchard, a Michigan recruiter, who told me of his impressive list of upcoming gun shows.  I’m sure most of you have similar plans laid out as well.  Everyone is glad to be back in the swing of things. 

The anti-gun administration is in full swing as well.  Hopefully, this will significantly push up our memberships.  Be prepared to chat about the anti-gun legislation going on in your state and around the country as many new gun owners are unaware of how they will be affected.  Connecting with these individuals will be vital in keeping them as members.  Now is the time to bring out your tried-and-true red, white and blue pro-gun information!

A friendly reminder to refrain from sending in cash with your applications for obvious reasons.  Also, it would be good to get in the habit of reviewing them for mistakes before sending.  Or better yet, before members walk away from you.
