Northern Regional Report: March - April 2021

The Northern Region has hit the ground running in 2021. Despite the challenges the year has presented us with, like continuing COVID restrictions, you all have already signed up over 5,000 members so far! To take things a step further, 48 of you have already hit your annual goal of 25 members. Let’s keep up this pace as we move forward through the year.

I’d like to highlight a few folks who have managed to beat their numbers from this time last year.

-Bob King – up 16%
-Chucks Gun Shop & Pistol Range- up 47%
-G.A.T Guns – up 274%
-Wabash Valley Sportsman Club – up 14%

These folks have done a fantastic job pushing memberships at their stores and encouraging their clubs to be 100% NRA. Recruiters should always be on the lookout for opportunities to promote joining, answer questions about membership, and encourage folks to renew their memberships. Embracing this sort of effort is what helps our organization continue to grow.

If you haven’t already this year, take some time to do an inventory of your recruiting supplies. Will you be prepared for when events are back in full swing in your area? You should make sure that you have an adequate number of application books on hand and have a clean, professional looking display. As some states begin to ease their restrictions, shows and other events are allowed to be held again.
