Southern Regional Report: September - October 2020

Even with the turmoil that has plagued our country in 2020, the Southern region (which includes TX, FL, VA, WV, MD, DE, NC, SC,GA, AL, MS, AR and LA) has persevered and done a great job in terms of recruiting NRA members. When compared to 2019 results from July through mid-September, Southern Region Recruiters are up 36.5%! The dedication and passion of Recruiters living in these states is quite evident, since the Southern region was the only region to experience an increase during this period. Keep up the good work, especially leading up to the upcoming election!

One Recruiter who stands out is John Costello, an NRA Instructor from West Palm Beach, FL.  John has enrolled 35 members since July 1^st, and plans to continue pushing membership as much as he can.  John actually includes the cost of membership in his classes, which makes it possible to sign up every student he teaches. He explains, “The NRA does so much for our country and the Second Amendment. As we move into Fall and hunting season, let’s keep the momentum going and look for any opportunities to advance our recruiting efforts. Continue to push your web links online and if you are comfortable, start looking for other ways to reach new members in your community. Emotions are high with the election right around the corner and many people are willing to join if asked by a dedicated NRA Recruiter.
