Western Regional Report: November - December 2019

As we near the end 2019, I want to thank you all for sticking with us during this challenging year. With the 2020 election looming, there will be a spike in events such as fundraisers and political rallies. I encourage you to include these types of events to reach potential members that may not frequent gun/outdoor shows. If you decide to attend any politically focused event, be sure to keep yourself updated on any local issues. The NRA-ILA website is always a great resource for gun related news, you can even filter the articles by state and sign up for automatic updates.

As we move into our winter gun show season, stay up-to-date with all of the current NRA membership benefits so you never miss a chance to sign up a new member. Our Membership Affinity team is always working on new benefits like the Patriot Mobile’s offer for discount cell phone plans, added at the beginning of this year. Make sure you are signed up to receive our weekly E-Cruiter updates and check the member benefits site periodically so you don’t miss anything that could help win over potential new members.

Please send me a list of gun shows you plan to attend so I can keep my master list updated. Although the regional reports are no longer printed in each magazine, we still need all gun shows to be submitted three months in advance to make it into the online regional reports.
