NRA Club Recruiters have continued to show their passion for the Second Amendment and growing the NRA, signing up over 10,000 members! Clubs across the country have contributed to this growth using a few simple methods: membership drives within the club, setting up booths at events open to the public, pushing their web link to sign up members online and including a custom application in their newsletters or mailings. Chances are, the best strategy for your club is a combination of these methods.
One Club Recruiter that has been perfecting their methods since 1998, is Hobbs Gun Club (HGC) from Hobbs, New Mexico. HGC has signed up over 280 members since March, more than any other Club Recruiter this year! HGC requires everyone to become an NRA member and they are effectively able to run membership drives during their renewal season by verifying NRA membership at the time of club renewals. The club’s NRA contact, Jerry Van Winkle, commented “We’re proud to do everything possible to support the NRA and their mission.” If you would like to discuss how we can help your club reach 100% NRA membership, please reach out to me at [email protected].
Pressing on in 2019, let’s continue our efforts to make a positive impact on the NRA and the future of our Second Amendment freedoms.Summer events at your club could present a great opportunity to sign up non NRA members from your community. Set up a recruiting booth at a competition or an outdoor club event.Be sure to present your discounted rates to all club guests and encourage them to join our cause! No matter the size of your club, you can make a difference and strengthen the NRA during these critical times.
The NRA Recruiting program provides a great opportunity for NRA members to strengthen the NRA by increasing membership and earn extra money at the same time!
