Instructor Category Report: March - April 2019

NRA Instructor Recruiters are off to a great start in 2019, with over 400 active Recruiters enrolling 2000 members.  Many instructors have found success in new strategies they have been trying out. Offering discounts on personal merchandise, including membership dues in class rates, seeking out local events (with our approval), showing NRATV videos in class and/or sending out frequent emails with their unique web links are just a few of the many strategies that have been recently working.

One Recruiter whose methods have been resulting in a major positive impact on the NRA is Lori Bowles. Lori’s strategy is also something many other Recruiters surprisingly do not focus on.  Lori has done a fantastic job signing up multi-year and Life memberships.  Of her ten enrollees in 2019, three signed up for Life, six signed up for 5 years and one signed up for an Easy Pay Life membership.  Lori’s average order amount is over $300 per member!

Lori believes in the Second Amendment and explains to her students that the NRA is the one fighting for our Constitutional rights.  Once she convinces them of the importance to join, she takes it a step further to make sure her students show even greater support while taking advantage of multi-year deals.  Point out to your students: If they believe in the NRA’s mission, they will want to sign up in the future, so save money in the long run by enrolling for future years right now!
