Central Regional Report: March - April 2019

With 2019 well underway, w'ere already gearing up for another election. The work and dedication we put into our recruiting efforts this year will prove to be significant in order for us to build and maintain the Central Region for the upcoming political fights ahead.

With that being said, I’d like to recognize a Recruiter who has proven to be a perfect example of someone who established her roots as a Show Recruiter 20 years ago. Jane Snapp of Dallas, TX has remained vigilant, dedicated and committed to fighting to protect our Second Amendments rights. She celebrated her 20^th year as a show recruiter this past February. Two decades later, and she is still going strong! In 2019, she has already managed to recruit 80 members and has consistently been in the Top 10 Show Recruiters since starting 20 years ago. Thank you, Jane, for your commitment and service to the NRA!

I’d also like to recognize some brand new Recruiters just planting their roots and getting their recruiting efforts started here in the Central Region. Donald Castella of Illinois enrolled as a Recruiter last April and has recruited over 45 memberships to date! Additionally, Eric Joffrion of Texas enrolled as a Recruiter this January and has already sold 3 memberships! Keep up the great work everyone and remember to strive for 25 memberships in a year!

On another note, I know it has been more challenging recruiting members since the Trump Administration has been in the White House. However, the relentless attacks and outrageous rhetoric aimed at the NRA is never ending and doesn’t show any signs of slowing down. The Democrats have taken majority of the House and are constantly proposing new anti-gun legislation and continuously fighting to try to destroy our Second Amendment rights. So it is very important to tell people about the issues going on in your state and convince them why these are all reasons for them to join and/or renew their NRA membership with you today.
