Clubs Category Report: January - February 2019

2018 was another successful year for NRA Club Recruiters. 642 clubs signed up over 26,000 NRA members!  To keep the momentum going, I want to challenge all Club Recruiters to start setting your goals for 2019.  This is a great time to discuss strategy with the leadership in your club, so 2019 can be our most successful year yet!

Every club or association is different so each should have a unique goal in 2019. There is always room to improve, whether your club is finally ready to make the push to 100% NRA membership or if the plan is to sign up more club guests at events open to the public.  You could also set a goal to reach more members of the community by setting up NRA membership drives and including more club members in the recruiting process. Successful recruiting results from two clubs in particular have brought to light another potential goal that may work well for your club, increasing your multi-year recruits.  Both Benton Gun Club and Rivanna Rifle & Pistol Club not only work hard to ensure 100% NRA in their club, but they also push multi-level memberships and enroll only a few associate members.  Multi-year memberships come with higher levels of savings and are a perfect way to stay in compliance with the bylaws of a 100% NRA club from year to year.
