As we get closer to midterm elections, the hysteria around gun control will only increase. This is a crucial time to bring in more members to the NRA and not the time to rest on our successes from the beginning of the year. Stand strong and sign up new members to fight back. It is easy to lose focus on memberships because we won the elections in 2016; however, we must not become complacent. Andy Grove—one of the founders and past CEO’s of Intel—once said, “Success breeds complacency. Complacency breeds failure.” This quote is great motivation for us right now. Continue to restore the Second Amendment, build on each victory and do not settle for past victories.
Look for new opportunities to sell NRA memberships. As businesses and individuals involved in the community, you have connections to tap into. Reach out to your contacts or past individuals you signed up to see if they would like renew their membership, or if they are able to provide you a platform to sign up NRA members. With midterm elections and hunting season, countless opportunities are available if you are looking for them.
Every member counts. NRA President Oliver North has a goal of reaching 12 million members. Together, let’s reach that goal. Don’t rely on others to bring in new members to the NRA. Relying on others is a sign of complacency. We must have the drive to further the NRA. Strive for 25! If there is anything I can do to help you reach your recruiting goals please do not hesitate to ask. Thank you all for your support. As members you are the fabric of this organization, and as Recruiters you are building this organization to be even stronger.
The NRA Recruiting program provides a great opportunity for NRA members to strengthen the NRA by increasing membership and earn extra money at the same time!
