Southeast Regional Report: September - October 2018

The Southeast continues to see an increase in memberships compared to 2017. Currently we have added or renewed over 15,000 members and counting! Please stay vigilant when signing up members. So far this year, we have over 170 applications returned from processing, 80 of them from our recent NRA Weekend with Bass Pro Shops and Cabela's. 

Applications are kicked back for a variety of reasons including incorrect credit card numbers (#1 issue), incorrect credit card expiration dates, or incomplete addresses. These issues can easily be resolved by taking an extra minute and verifying the information with the member before giving them the customer copy of their receipt. Remember, if you can't read their handwriting, we can't either!

Returned applications cause delays in processing the membership. The member doesn't receive their membership on time and you may not receive your commission. Remember, people join the NRA because they are committed to our cause. They are willing to wait an extra minute to ensure their application is filled out correctly. Just think how many more memberships the Southeast would have if these simple issues were corrected on-the-spot!
