XI Category Report: May - June 2018

NRA related stories have been flooding our news feeds in recent months.  One story that’s undeniably true, however, is that more and more Americans are learning to shoot firearms safely.  This surge of curious new shooters presents a great opportunity for NRA Instructors to explain the importance of NRA membership.  This trend has also resulted in an increase of certified Instructors and new Instructor Recruiters.  In fact, instructors who enrolled as new Recruiters in 2018 have already brought in 360 members! 

It is great to see new Recruiters quick to make a difference, but it’s also important that long-time Recruiters retain their passion for defending the Second Amendment.  This type of commitment is clearly demonstrated by the instructor Recruiter with our longest running active account, Joel Northrup.  Joel has been an instructor since 1990 and a Recruiter since 1993. After all this time, he is still very excited to be involved with the program.  He teaches two classes per month on average and never misses an opportunity to spread the word about NRA membership to each and every student.
