XI Category Report: March - April 2018

NRA Instructor Recruiters are off to a great start in 2018, with a 19% overall increase vs last year!  This early success stems from very impressive numbers that have come in the last few weeks.  Many Recruiters have been able to capitalize on the current political climate resulting in a window of opportunity where an everyday gun owner is much more likely to join the NRA.  Now is the time to focus on your recruiting efforts and set ambitious short term goals.

Steven Ray Faris from Hesperia, CA. enrolled in the program January 30^th and has already signed up over 40 members!  He utilized his web link and seized every available opportunity to put this in front of Second Amendment supporters who might be interested in joining the NRA.  It’s important that we all take advantage during this period of enthusiastic support and recruit as many members as possible!

Results show strong numbers from web links overall, so be sure to post your link on social media, send it out in a newsletter or mass e-mail, and post a graphic prominently on your company’s web page.  If you still need a web link created, please contact me at [email protected].  Also, focus on signing up a higher percentage of students in each class.  Think of creative strategies that result in your students supporting each other and signing up as a group.  For example, ask if they have ever been a member, and if they still decline to join after your sales pitch, suggest to split payment for an associate membership at $5 apiece.  From there you can move on to other students in the class and encourage them to out-do each other in their show of support.  With the positive momentum the NRA is experiencing, be sure to set your goals appropriately and work towards your best year of recruiting in 2018!
