XC Category Report: July - August 2017

Over 600 dedicated NRA Club Recruiters have brought in 16,672 members so far in 2017!  Let’s keep the momentum going by focusing on recruiting basics, while also implementing creative strategies to boost your recruiting numbers. Associate your club's membership renewal with NRA membership renewal, post your web link in predominate areas and focus on reaching/retaining 100% NRA membership.  Several clubs new to the program have experienced early success while relying on these basic recruiting tactics.

CANFIRE, from Chicago, IL, has already signed up 33 members since enrolling in the program in May of this year.  The club’s goal is to become 100% NRA, but they also recruit heavily at their monthly events open to the public.  CANFIRE has also done a great job of pushing Life and multi-year memberships.

Rockingham County Gun Club began recruiting in February of this year and have already signed up 21 members, 20 of which were through their NRA web link!  The club is about 90% NRA, but they strongly encourage everyone to join, and push them to their link displayed proudly on their homepage.  If you still need a unique web link to be created or if you’d like to discuss ways to reach 100% NRA membership, please reach out to me at [email protected]

Moving forward, continue to shape your recruiting strategy to more effectively reach all of your club’s members and members of your local community.  Be creative with your membership drives and use more of your club members to reach the general public.
