West Region July - August 2016

We are now halfway through the year and we are on pace to have one of the best recruiting years ever.  Membership recruitment in the western region is up about 37% compared to last year.  Keep the momentum going as we head towards the election! 

As I’m sure most of you know, the NRA recently endorsed Donald Trump for President.  You may come across members and nonmembers who do not like this decision.  Inform them the NRA is a single issue organization and we cannot trust Hillary Clinton with our gun rights.  For more information about the endorsement, please visit https://www.nrapvf.org/articles/20160520/nra-endorses-donald-trump-for-president-of-the-united-states

As we get closer to the election, be sure you have plenty of supplies on hand at your shows as you will see increased membership numbers.  Now is a great time to recruit gun owners who are not yet NRA members.  Use the election as a selling point.  With Hillary’s nomination of an anti-gun Supreme Court justice, we could lose our individual right to keep a gun in our home for self-defense.

Continue to look for new opportunities to recruit.  Make sure all of your friends and family are NRA members.  It is imperative that we continue to grow the western region.  Keep up the hard work!
