With the election coming in November, our goal is to get the NRA in front of as many people as possible. How many members would you like to recruit for the next month, the next quarter and the entire year? Have you researched any new venues or events with potential for recruiting? Check your previous records to set attainable and realistic goals.
2016 is lining up to be our best recruiting year ever. While I know you’re all excited to bring in piles of memberships to the NRA, it’s important to double check the applications. Please take time to verify credit card numbers are complete, checks are written for the correct amount, your applications are sorted by cash, check and charge, and finally, that your show reports are complete. It’s important that memberships get in on time and are correct. Members expect to receive their credentials between four and six weeks as stated on the back of their receipt. If the memberships do not come in promptly and/or correct it holds up processing for everyone. The key is to remember good customer service so they will continue to renew their memberships with you rather than elsewhere.
There are so many people whom I want to congratulate. Many of you like Charlie Belt and Gordon Maracle increased their recruited members by 200%. I have to admire recruiters like Jane Snapp who push themselves every year and continue to grow the NRA by thousands of members a year. I am proud to say the Central Region grew 3% in 2015.
The NRA Recruiting program provides a great opportunity for NRA members to strengthen the NRA by increasing membership and earn extra money at the same time!
