Northeast Regional Report: September - October 2015

The hunting season presents endless recruiting opportunities. Very soon, this nation’s gun owners, new and old, will inhabit our local ranges, sporting goods stores, Hunter Education courses, and many other venues in preparation for the upcoming season. I challenge each of you to explore the places where our American hunters, gun owners, and freedom-loving Americans will gather this Fall and Winter season. Tapping into these vital resources can only strengthen our organization. Reach out to local promoters, business owners, Department of Natural Resources, processing centers, and Game check centers to gather information on community events. Remember the importance of grassroots activism, community, and dedication. As your community involvement increases, so too will your memberships. The more you are seen as “their” NRA Recruiter, heard promoting NRA membership and prepared to sign up new members, you will find your membership numbers will jump.
Strive to continuously grow relationships with promoters, both past and present, as are essential assets in discovering new events or securing future venues. Keep up the hard work! Be Seen, Be Heard, and Be Prepared.
The NRA Recruiting program provides a great opportunity for NRA members to strengthen the NRA by increasing membership and earn extra money at the same time!
