The Central Region is up 10% over a very successful 2014 and leading all regions in 2015 thanks to new recruiters like Sigvart Vigesaa! Sig started recruiting this summer and has already recruited 413 members. Congratulations to Don Hildebrandt who has already doubled his recruited members from last year. Don has found success by attending outdoor shows in his region. This proves that finding new events will push your totals to new heights!
Outdoor events, hunting and fishing shows, fall harvest festivals and County/State fairs are coming into full swing. Contact local promoters and find out if they have a NRA recruiter. If they don’t, ask if you may set up a table and sign attendee’s up. We are entering hunting season, and during this time of the year there are many hunting related sales going on at local sporting goods stores. Do not overlook these venues for recruiting. Whether it’s a large chain hunting and fishing store, or a locally owned shop, these are excellent places to find 2nd Amendment supporters and potential NRA members. While gun shows will remain the mainstay of recruitment, we must be open to new events. Keep your eyes and ears open for new opportunities to take your recruiting results to the next level.
Campaigning for next year’s presidential election is ramping up. Be proactive in your recruiting efforts. Get out there and talk to anyone who will listen. Let them know there is no time like the present to sign up with the NRA. It’s all about protecting what we believe in and preserving our heritage for future generations. The pressure is on and the time to act is NOW!
The NRA Recruiting program provides a great opportunity for NRA members to strengthen the NRA by increasing membership and earn extra money at the same time!
