Northeast Regional Report: November - December 2015

As the air grows colder and the days grow shorter, I would like to acknowledge a few of our Northeast recruiters who have showcased their dedication and hard work by expanding their agendas and markets. Their hard work has resulted in measurable growth for the NRA.  

• Greg Sullivan, Fredericksburg, IN – Greg initially focused on Fairs and parades for the Northeast region. He has recently expanded his coverage to include hunting and fishing stores.  This expansion has improved the reach and accessibility of the NRA.
• Nicholas and Vicki Merlino, Philadelphia, PA – The Merlinos joined our team in the latter part of 2014. They have introduced and placed themselves into untapped markets of local gun show promoters.  These new events were previously unattended by the NRA. 

Greg and the Merlinos have diligently strengthened this great organization and our nation with nearly 1,000 members. Additionally, Jeff Steele of Forestville, CT and David Simmons of West Monroe, NY have been exemplary in their ability to explore new venues and work diligently to revitalize past events. I challenge and encourage all of you to embrace these recruiters’ exceptional service and actively seek new opportunities in your local communities for our organization to grow stronger. 

I would also like to thank each and every recruiter for standing true to our beliefs and representing the NRA each and every day.  You all embody what our organization stands for. With the skills, experience, diversity and resilience of the Northeast recruiting team, we are undoubtedly growing stronger each and every day.
