Northeast Regional Report: July - August 2014

We would like to thank a few dedicated recruiters like Brandon Hedrick, Patricia Seifert, and Harry Jacobs for producing piles of memberships from summer fairs, festivals, shooting competitions, and political rallies! Some Northeast states have fewer gun shows than other parts of the country but the potential remains when you consider the other events just waiting for a NRA recruiter. Scope out your local area for these types of opportunities.

With my summer travel season approaching it is important to take this time to contact me regarding your upcoming shows and events. Scheduling confusion and problems can be easily avoided with a phone call or email to update me with your plans. It’s also the perfect time to inquire about open shows and opportunities in your area. Furthermore when ‘life happens’ and you have to cancel an event, please take a moment to inform us. This will give us a chance to locate another recruiter to work the show and to make sure a recruiting opportunity is not missed. This communication is essential if we are to maintain the relationship that we have cultivated with our supportive show promoters.
