Western Regional Report: January - February 2014

Happy New Year! 2013 proved to be a record year for everyone! Thanks to all of your commitment and hard work we saw unprecedented recruitment last year and increased our membership by 41%! Unfortunately, as we all know, the anti-Second Amendment crowd never stops. 2014 is going to be as important as 2013 in our ongoing fight to protect our rights. With mid-term elections this year we must continue to do everything we can to increase membership!

Setting a yearly goal is a great way to stay productive and track your progress. It can be a great tool to measure your success.  I would even break it down to months and events, trying to add 5-15 Memberships per event. Small gains at each show will help boost your overall numbers for the year and help the West Region grow.

Now is the time to make sure that you have plenty of recruiting supplies and to solidify your schedule for the first six months of 2014. With the large increase in new members over the last 12 months you must be prepared for a large influx of renewal memberships. Always offer an early renewal as it just adds time onto any remaining months that the member may have on their current membership. I am excited for 2014 and believe that it will once again be a big year for the West! As always, please contact me with any questions or concerns you may have.
